

A 21-year-old man arrested on suspicion of shooting a man to death in Indio is scheduled to make an initial court appearance Wednesday.
Indio resident Ruben Molina is expected to be charged with murder during an arraignment Wednesday at the Larson Justice Center in Indio.
Officers responded to the 80000 block of Jennifer Court at about 2:30 a.m. Saturday to a report of a shooting, according to the Indio Police Department, where they found a man on the ground in front of a house suffering from a gunshot wound.
The Indio Fire Department rushed the man to Desert Regional Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Investigators identified the suspect as 21-year-old Ruben Molina of Indio, and he was arrested without incident around noon Saturday in the 44000 block of Avenue 44, police said.
Molina was booked at the John J. Benoit Detention Center on suspicion of murder.
The victim was identified as 23-year-old Carlos Arriaga of Indio.
