The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department was investigating Sunday the deaths of three family members found inside a home in Palmdale.
The bodies of two men and a woman were discovered about 3:50 p.m. Saturday, in the 1100 block of West Avenue N-12, according to the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
A videographer who was at the scene told City News Service he learned from a Los Angeles County sheriff’s lieutenant that deputies responded to a request from a family member for a welfare check of the home.
Upon entering the residence, deputies found the bodies of two men — one estimated to be in his late 70s to early 80s and a son said to be in his 50s — and the body of the son’s wife, also described as being in her 50s.
The sheriff’s department reported the three bodies showed signs of trauma, but would not elaborate. The cause of death will be determined by the coroner’s office.
