
A man was charged Thursday with murder for allegedly stabbing his wife to death in their home in unincorporated Valinda.
Ricky Ramos Jr., 32, was ordered held on $2.02 million bail while awaiting arraignment March 6 in Pomona on a murder charge, which includes a knife use allegation.
Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies found 28-year-old Socorro Ramos dead after they were called Monday night to a home in the 16300 block of Doublegrove Street.
Her husband was arrested early Tuesday in connection with her killing.
He could face up to 26 years to life in state prison if convicted as charged, according to the District Attorney’s Office.
