A murder suspect in a stolen vehicle led police on a chase Thursday, crashed into several vehicles, tried to run then was taken into custody.
Officers began chasing the suspect around 9:30 a.m. near Western and Slauson avenues moments before the crashes, according to Los Angeles Police Department Officer Drake Madison.
Broadcast video showed the suspect being arrested about 9:45 a.m. Thursday near 57th Street and St. Andrews Place after he got out of the vehicle and tried to run off.
At times, the stolen vehicle circled in and out of a parking lot at Western Avenue and St. Andrews Place.
Information was not immediately available on the killing for which the man was wanted.
