Authorities Wednesday released security video they hope will help find two suspects wanted in an attempted murder in 2022 in Hollywood.
The crime occurred on April 16, 2022 at about 2:30 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
“The victim was followed from the Hyde Sunset night club back to his vehicle in the 8200 block of Sunset Boulevard,” an LAPD statement said.
“As the victim stood next to a vehicle, he was approached by two suspects, described as male … both armed with firearms,” police said. “During an attempt robbery, (one) suspect fired a gunshot striking the victim. The suspects entered their vehicle and fled the area. No property was taken from the victim.”
The suspects’ vehicle was described as a 2004-12 BMW 3-Series sedan, black or dark in color. The car had 5-spoke wheels, no front license plate, and possible damage or malfunction to the passenger side tail light.
A $50,000 reward was offered by the city of Los Angeles for information leading to the identity, arrest and prosecution of the persons responsible for the crime, police said.
