La Verne police detectives have arrested a second suspect in the attempted murder of a man who was shot during an argument in February, authorities said Tuesday.
On Feb. 26, a 42-year-old La Verne man was shot in the 1700 block of First Street. The victim was treated at a hospital and released, police said.
On March 3, police arrested 21-year-old John Sanchez Jr. of La Verne. On July 7, detectives arrested a male juvenile whose name was not released.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office has filed charges on both suspects for attempted murder and “shooting at an inhabited dwelling or occupied car,” police said.
“Although charges have been filed, the La Verne Police detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting,” police said.
