
Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding a grandmother who was shot and killed Saturday morning outside a bar in Long Beach.
The shooting occurred at 12:40 a.m. at 1616 W. Pacific Coast Highway, said Lt. Abram Yap of the Long Beach Police Department.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, Yap said. She was a 57- year-old grandmother from Ontario, according to media reports.
At least one other person was critically injured in the shooting, sources at the scene said, and four others were reportedly injured.
